I used to know the museum very well and am almost envious of my colleague Soren Bak Jensen for the professional opportunity and the courage to face the challenge: any museum needs to be a cybernetic response to the threats the modern society is exposed to. This museum is one of the rare ones that understands the concept and sees its role as adjusting to the challenges of the people, of its owners. I believe that not only their young "museum rebels" but curators can link museums' role with the ideals of a welfare state without fearing being disregarded or criticized for cultural Marxism or any such nonsense.

Well done on the multi perspective and approach in the design. Great use of space and senses for visitors to feel connected and relevant to these science history and current issues. I’ve spent 6hrs in this small museum and feel inspired at every corners. No wonder it won best museum in Europe. I hope more ppl would come to visit, it’s too underrated for tourists. Ppl who love science or working in science industry should come to experience and be inspired. I would love to visit again❤

I'd like to do the thatcher

I read this book some time ago, maybe a year or so after it was published. I found the story so intoxicating and melancholy. Orhan Pamuk's story telling took me to Istanbul in ways I probably wouldn't be able to experience the same way if I went there myself. The images gave me a reference to all these situations and places and dug into my heart so deep that I still think about the way they were (in my mind's eye) in settings such as the party, their interactions, the crash. I felt like I was both inside Kemal's mind and Fusun's too. I do wish to go to Istanbul and walk through the streets and picture how it may have been at the time the book was set, so I may imagine to breathe in the love that never was, but somehow is in that place.
